The Short Version

I don't sell your data. I use some third-party services to make the site work, and they might collect data according to their own policies.

If you create an account, purchase a subscription, or use the chat, some data gets stored. That's about it.

What I Collect

If you create an account: Your email and whatever info you provide to Clerk (the authentication service). I don't directly handle passwords or sensitive auth data.

If you purchase a subscription: Your payment method you provide to Stripe (the payment service). I don't directly handle payment methods/payments.

If you use the chat widget: Whatever you share with Crisp (the chat service), including messages and basic info.

Basic website stuff: Like any website, there's basic technical data (your browser type, IP address) that gets logged by the hosting infrastructure. I don't actively analyze this.

Third-Party Services

I use these services to run the site:

Clerk - Handles authentication. They have their own privacy policy.

Stripe - Handles payments. They have their own privacy policy.

Supabase - Stores the content metadata (talk titles, URLs, etc.). They have their own privacy policy.

Crisp - Powers the chat widget. They have their own privacy policy.

Each of these services operates independently with their own data practices. Check their privacy policies if you want details.

What I Do With Your Data

Your account info is used to let you log in and use account features. That's it.

I don't send marketing emails, sell data to advertisers, or do anything shady.

Your Rights

Want your data deleted? Just ask. Want to know what I have? Ask. Want to correct something? You got it.

For account data managed by Clerk, you'll need to work with their systems. I can help point you in the right direction.

Security

I use standard security practices and rely on reputable third-party services. But let's be real: nothing online is 100% secure. I do my best, but I can't guarantee perfect security.

Changes

I might update this policy if I add new features or services. I'll update the date at the top. Check back occasionally if you care.
